Case study: donations in action

TACT young person Zoe, shares her story of coming to be in TACT's care...

"I came into foster care when I was 15 years old. When I was living with my birth family, I was taking drugs regularly, drinking alcohol everyday and not going to school. Professionals have said that if I had carried on living that way I would have ended up dead.

I tried committing suicide several times and was eventually placed in a secure mental health unit. It was at this time that it was decided I would be placed into a foster home for twelve weeks.

Almost three years on and I am still here."

With your support we can help more young people like Zoe. I thank TACT and their carers for the person I am today. Since going into care I have turned my life around completely with help and support from my foster carers, Marie and Gerald Evans"

With your support we can help more young people in care like Zoe.
