My story

 

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is what happens when you turn 40: you suddenly want to do triathlons...... no, SERIOUSLY!! so in preparation for the real thing next year, I'm doing it in stages..... in September I will be attempting 2 rather big events - well for me anyway!! On the 13th I will swim a mile in Lake Windermere in the Great North swim, and then 2 weeks later I will be doing my first 10k run ever - the Cancer Research 10K run in Blenheim... Sometime after that I'll complete the bike part - guess I can't count my mad dash from station to work and back, so I'll do the 40k bike ride in the hills around here, and finish off with the now infamous Frieth Hilly 10k Run on the 18th of October........whew!! Are you inspired now??!! :)

I have chosen to support Equilibrium in memory of my darling little sister Lolli. This is a charity working to advance the understanding, treatment and deal with the stigma and prejudice surrounding bipolar disorder.
