Tailfeathers had its first yearly charity fundraiser last year, supporting Cancer Research UK; unfortunately, we fell very short of our goal (£40 was raised, compared to the goal of £500) -- however, we are hoping that improvements this year will make our goal of £500 possible!

The charity we have selected this year is a small grassroots organization called The Tree of Life for Animals, which helps stray animals all over India. Christmastime is soon upon us and given that we are all animal lovers on this website, we figured that it is appropriate to think of all the other animals in the world who need our help. We will have this fundraiser run until the end of December, and our goal is once again 500 pounds -- that's approximately 746 US dollars, 908 Canadian dollars, 583 Euros, 1,124 Australian dollars, 1,332 New Zealand dollars.*

With this much time and so many members, we should be able to easily hit and maybe even exceed this goal. Let us come together to help find a cure for cancer!
