We have decided as a team to raise money for our partner school in Rwanda. Our links with St Emmanuel College in Hanika were first formed 10 years ago in 2005. Rwanda is a country which has suffered a lot, particularly with the Genocide which started in 1994 and claimed 800,000 victims.

Whilst it has started to rebuild itself, we would like to help this particular school and its community to build simple things which we take for granted, such as a water tank, better school equipment etc.

As a result pupils, staff and parents have come together to form the Talbot Heath Running team and run the Bournemouth half marathon together.
