Hearing Dogs For Deaf People

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert their deaf owners to sounds such as the telephone, doorbell or smoke alarm. Most dogs are selected from rescue centres, giving unwanted dogs useful and happy lives to the benefit of deaf people.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

This year I have put my running shoes back on for an even bigger challenge - the 2009 Flora London Marathon! I will be running in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Most of these amazing dogs are sourced from rescue centres so through their work the charity changes the lives of many unwanted animals as well as providing invaluable working companions for people with hearing impairments.
