The Cancer Counselling Trust offers specialist counselling and emotional support, both face to face and over the phone, to anyone - patient, partner, family member, colleague or friend - having difficulty in coping with a cancer diagnosis, treatment or effect at any stage of the disease, including bereavement.

My personal message:

Hello and thanks for visiting my fundraising page! In 2007 I did the Super-Sprint London triathlon and through the generous sponsorship of family and friends raised almost 500 pounds for the Cancer Counselling Trust (CCT). The trauma of last year has faded and this year I will be competing in the Sprint Blenheim Triathlon, which is taking place on Saturday 7 June amidst the splendour of Blenheim Palace. It is double the distance, i.e. it comprises a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km ride, and I have been training regularly, albeit hampered at times by a shoulder injury and dodgy knee. I plan to donate any funds raised again to CCT, a charity with which I have a personal connection (two of my close friends work there), and which I can assure you offers a very important and meaningful service to those affected by cancer.
