On 13th November 2013 my father in law had what we thought to be a minor stroke.  18 weeks have passed and we are still on the road to recovery.  The hard work & dedication of all those at Aberdeen's Woodend Stroke Rehab Centre has been invaluable.  Getting to know other patients and how each have had their life's turned on their heads so quickly has pushed me to do something to raise money for the cause.

Together with Mark & Douglas Barnard, we are going to play 150 holes of Golf together at Tarbat Golf Club in Portmahomack, Ross Shire on 25th July 2014.  Anyone who has tried something similar will know how physically demanding such a task is, but its nothing compared to the physical disability stroke victims can have taken away from them in an instant.

The funds should be able to help provide additional equipment enabling more patients to benefit from faster recoveries and additional day trips to boost morale.
