My story
A tattoo is not just for Christmas – sometimes it’s for Mary’s Meals!!
In October, you helped me to raise £380 and we provided 13,000 meals for the struggling refugees of Somalia. That was just SO cool! We saved lives with that money and I want to do it again!
If I can raise another £380 before Christmas for Mary’s Meals East Africa Appeal, I will have the continent of Africa tattooed on my left arm ... not actual size, of course ... courtesy of Wilmslow’s very own ink-meisters, The Tattoo Company!
£380 will buy a tonne of Likuni Phala, the fortified maize-soy porridge fed to children at Mary's Meals Feeding Shelters across Africa. Christmas is a time for giving so let's give something special to the refugees in Somalia.
For us, a bowl of porridge is breakfast; for the people of Somalia, it could be a life saver.

Mary’s Meals is an international movement that sets up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education. The charity now feeds more than 600,000 children every school day and it costs just £10.70 / €12.40 / $16.80 to feed a child for a year.
