About the charity : Gwalior Children's Hospital Gwalior Children's Hospital
Gwalior Childrens' Hospital Charity is working to help and provide for poor, needy, destitute, disabled and underprivileged esp. children, women and old, the most vulnerable of Gwalior and Chambal region through Gwalior Hospital for Children and Women, Ophthalmic Centre, General Hospital, Rural health centres and Gwalior mobile hospital to provide a wide range of specialised medical care and health educational services in Gwalior and Chambal region, its slums, rural and remote areas. In addition GCHC supports children in existing schools and Orphanages as well runs a School for special needs and is building an Orphanage- Snehalaya to accommodate 200 of disabled and destitute children, details on http://www.helpchildrenofindia.org

Snehalaya is a small complex outside Gwalior with 5 small cottage that houses upto 10 kids along with 2 carers that look after them. They have a farm yard of animals and a schooling system for the cerebral palsy children and the more able children too.

If you can afford to, please give a few pounds towards the charity. They are currently planning to build another 7 cottages to save more people from the Mercy home. Just £12 pounds will support a child for a year.
