Goa, a small state on the SW coast of India, is a hot favourite amongst tourists from all over the world. While the tourism industry has flourished, it has also impacted heavily on the envrionment and culture of the state. Many locals are now raising their voice in protest.
Bansko and Dobri
This film tells the story of the rapid development of the Bansko Ski Zone in Bulgaria. Vast areas of ancient forest have been razed. The once small village of Bansko has become a vast sprawl of hotels and holiday apartments, encroaching even further into the Pirin National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
