Dear Friends and Supporters of Team 'Scatter!'

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. YOUR EFFORTS MEAN SO MUCH TO St CLARES HOSPICE.

Peter and Tony have succesfully completed the 'The Great Escape' from the detainment area at B&Q DIY superstore in South Shields, Tyne & Wear, at 5pm on Friday 15 May 2009.

The challenge was to get as far away as possible within 24 hours of escape. They finally made it as far as Benidorm, without any thought to their own personal safety, running as they did, without any factor 10 sunscreen and even without designer shades.

We are very tired but proud, but more than anything, we are so thankful and proud to have so many fantastic freinds and acquaintances who have all helped (and are still helping) to rocket the fundraising figure closer and closer towards our target.

Our two-man team of ruthless escapologists (vagabonds, (desperados, ne'er-do-wells, and downright very naughty boys), remained in convict uniform for the entire duration of the task, making them appear like escaped boiled lobsters, while all around were basking in temperatures in the high 80's. (If anyone thinks this was easy, you are hereby challenged to take us on in next years event!!, We will be the team heading for Northern Iceland!!)  A photograph of the triumphant arrival in Benidorm will be appearing here soon.

A special thank you goes to Mick Dodd of 'Inspection Testing & Consultancy Ltd' for their fantastic support and assistance in ensuring that Team 'Scatter!' could succesfully make the 'great escape'.

Now to complete the task by breaking the target barrier. We are almost there.!!!!

Please donate by clicking on the 'Donate Now' link. By clicking on the 'Gift Aid' link, this enables the charity to benefit by a further 25%, by recouping the tax you would have normally paid on the donated amount. It does not cost you a single penny more, the governement (tax man) simply boosts your donation. So make that click, you know it makes sense!

Our heartfelt and sincere thanks to everyone supporting us in our fundraising task. We will send you a message from the moon!!! A penny a mile should just about cover it...........

Everyone who has donated is a truly wonderful human being, but we are still looking to break the target barrier.

So.....GET DONATING! CLICK THE LINK, AND YOUR LIFE WILL BE BETTER!!

BE WONDERFUL, LIKE ALL THESE WONDERFUL GENEROUS KIND PEOPLE LISTED BELOW!

Thank you. from the bottom of our hearts.

Tony & Peter
