Welcome to Greg & Guy's page, I'm glad you found us!
We are both running 3 marathons over 6 months across 3 different continents all in the aid of Chase Hospice. Having both completed a marathon each (Greg in London and Guy in New York) we wanted to push ourselves and raise a lot of money for a great cause whilst doing it. Below is the press release regarding our run.
Please give generously and give us a bell on 07768 161847 if you want to know more!
Cheers,

March 2010 - Update
Tokyo marathon completed! After a fantastic trip we are back home and resting up before Hamburg. While the trip was excellent, our preparation was plagued with food poisoning (Greg) and injuries (Guy). Race day was very cold, we lined up at 9am in pouring rain with the temptature not rising above 3degrees for the first three hours (it even snowed for half an hour!). We reached half way together but spilt up as Greg was still suffering from his illness the days before. Guy pushed on and managed to finish in 3hr 45mins (even with a huge amount of cramp/lingering injury) with Greg finishing in 4hr 9mins. Thank you so much for your continued support, we have 8 weeks to get ready for Hamburg then we repeat this all over again so please keep sponsoring us!
Cheers,
Guy & Greg x
November 2009 - Update
Many thanks for all the support for the Chicago marathon last month. We ran the race together and finished in 3hr 52mins on a sunny yet chilly day. The course was pristine and had good crowds for the majority of the race. Next up is Tokyo at the end of Feb!
Three Marathons, Two Men & A Chicken Wing Eating FinalistGood mates Greg Duce, 24 and Guy Porritt, 25 are putting in the training of their life at the moment as they prepare for three marathons in three different continents in just six months.
The men have pledged to raise £10,000 for CHASE hospice care for children whilst running the next Chicago, Tokyo and Hamburg Marathons.
This is only the second time, Greg and Guy will have run a marathon after being inspired at the London Marathon (Greg) and New York Marathons (Guy) this year. However, they are up for the challenge and are looking to the physical depths that it will push their bodies too.
Greg, who is most renowned amongst his friends for coming 6 in a national chicken wing competition last year, says he will be sticking to a much stricter diet for this event:
And both men are sure that the charity they are raising funds for will be the inspiration to get them to the finishing line. Guy said: “After coming to visit the CHASE children’s hospice and seeing the work they do, I couldn’t think of a better charity I could raise money for.”
Greg said: “I am really excited about seeing how much money we can raise and also running in some of the world’s biggest marathons. It is going to be a real physical test, especially when we run the London Marathon just eight weeks after the Tokyo Marathon but we are ready for the challenge and hope it will the journey of a lifetime.”
