90% of all new cases of Primary Bone Cancer (PBC) will develop in teenagers. The Bone Cancer Research Trust is devoted to promoting research into the causes and treatment of PBC, particularly Osteosarcoma & Ewing's Sarcoma, and to improving outcomes for patients; and providing information and support for patients and families.

THIS Sunday (October 12th) the Bone Idles (Kari, Yohana, Miles and Banny) are running the Royal Parks Half Marathon dressed as Boners in aid of Bone Cancer Research.

WHY?

Well, obviously because we are super keen, lean, mean, athletic running machines. But mainly because as many of you know, our cousin Peter was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a type of primary bone cancer, last summer and we are raising awareness and funds to support the Bone Cancer Research Trust.

So if anyone is around on october 12th and at a loose end please come and cheer us on and If you would like to donate to the Bone Cancer Research Trust, by sponsoring our endeavours this would be very much appreciated by ourselves and of course the charity. Please take a look at their website to read more about primary bone cancers.

If you’re a UK taxpayer Justgiving will add 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement to your donation.
