Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
On May 15th 2008, Alfie Kane passed away after a short illness. In the last few weeks of his life, he was cared for by the medical and general staff of the High Dependancy Unit (HDU) of Queens Hospital, Romford.
The care and dedication of these professionals is second to none. In the hours before Alfie (Dad/Fandad to the rest of us), the nurses looked after not only him, but our ever increasing family. They also had to endure hearing the family sing!!
On July 19th 2009, we will be taking part in a bike ride to Southend from London. All 59 Miles of it! We will be raising money for the HDU at Queens who fantastically took care of Alfie, but our family as well.
