Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
First of all you buy a car... For less than £100 !!!
...and then you set out to drive it 1000 miles across some of the most challenging roads in Europe in the ultimate banger rally!
That is the Scally Rally Ireland 2009 and that is what awaits the three of us who are now officially entered as Team No 99 ... Team Botch.
Fro
m the Titanic Quarter in
Belfast, where the great ship was built, to Cork where the last passengers boarded for the fateful
maiden voyage across the
Atlantic, including Ireland's
most northern point, Malin Head and it’s
most southern point, Mizen Head.
The route follows the northern, western and part of the southern coasts of Ireland.
We will be driving on so
me of the
most scenic roads in
Europe and most i
mportantly passing over
many of Ireland’s fa
mous Rally Stages, fro
m
Atlantic Drive
in the North to the fa
mous Ti
m Healy pass in the
Kerry
Mountains.
And all this will be done in a car worth less than the petrol we use during the event.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: East Anglian Air Ambulance gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
John, Evan and Phil would like to thank all those sponsoring us.
Update 14.02.09:
Well things are progressing...the car has some of it's paint on and some of it's stickers. Negotiations are progressing with a number of firms regarding some 'corporate' on car sponsorship and we hope to have news (and stickers and money) soon. So if you want your firm on there (and why wouldn't you?) you'd better move quick.
Hopefully we will have the car out on the road and raising funds for EAAA shortly.
Thanks to all those who have donated, and to the New Entertainer pub in Gorleston for 'hosting' one of our collection boxes.
