Thank you for visiting the "Team Britannia" fund raising page.
On 26th April 11 intrepid runners from the Britannia Movers International group will be attempting to complete the 26 miles of The Flora London Marathon.
Although one or two of the team have completed a marathon before, most are inexperienced runners and all are going through their own private training battles as the weeks pass by. For some just getting to the start line will be a major achievement, let alone getting to the finish line. (Injuries have now reduced the team to just 8)
To help them through the pain they have all pledged to raise a substantial amount of money for Leukaemia Care; a cause very close to the hearts of some of those running.
It's accepted that times are tough, but it's hoped that you could help support the Britannia runners and contribute to this great cause. All donations gratefully received.
On the day there will be a Britannia Cheer Zone for anyone who wishes to come along to cheer on the team. If you wish to come along to this you are more than welcome; just contact Lauren on 0800 622535.
