About our charity : The Ear Trust The Ear Trust
The Ear Trust helps in the diagnosis and management of profoundly deaf babies, children and adults mainly in the North of England. It also supplies information on cochlear implantation for families and professionals, supports regular local and national workshops and aids development of assessment and rehabilitation materials.

Our personal message:

Gordons has entered a team to run the Jane Tomlinson Run for All, on Sunday 22nd June 2008.  We will be raising funds for our chosen charity for 2008 which is The Ear Trust's appeal for the new Yorkshire Listening for Life Centre in Bradford.

The aim of the Trust is to raise funds to construct a new specialist Centre in the grounds of the Bradford Royal Infirmary. This Centre will enable the Trust to expand and continue the pioneering work started 17 years ago, at The Yorkshire Cochlear Implant unit, assessing and treating hundreds of profoundly deaf babies, young children and adults in the North of England. The Centre will serve the whole Yorkshire region, the nearest other facilities being in Nottingham and Newcastle.
