Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
HALE (Health & Life for Everyone) works to improve the daily lives of children, young people and adults who have been affected by disability or disadvantage. One of our aims is to provide opportunities for people with disabilities or mental health problems to take part in creative projects.
We recently ran A World Without Walls which is a short course in digital photography with a health theme. The course aims to allow people with disabilities to explore issues that are important to them, through the lens of a camera. Following the success of this, we are raising funds to run a similar course for people with learning disabilities. Examples some of the photographs taken by people who attended the course are shown here.
Colin and Seong have valiently agreed to take part in Kilomathon Scotland 2011 to raise money on our behalf and have embarked on a rigourous training schedule for the event. The Kilomathon takes place on April 17th.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
We welcome any donations, large or small which would go toward the cost of the materials needed for the course. So please dig deep and donate now.
