Story

Hello we are Team Jim Farmer.

10 years ago Jim Farmer (James Farmer's dear old dad) died of cancer. James wanted to do something epic in his Dad's memory, which would help raise much needed funds for a special charity.

James has managed to convince the 10 friends and family listed below to join him and put themselves through physical torture, spend their money, wear tight fitting lycra and cycle 300 miles from London to Paris over just 3 days. He can't thank them enough.

We are riding for Sam Beare Hospice in Weybridge. An independent charity dedicated to providing specialised end of life care. James's family really appreciated the care they provided their Dad in his last few days.

So, please do sponsor us as we want to raise some serious cash to warrant putting ourselves through never-seen-before chaffing and lung busting pain.

Making donations through JustGiving is simple, and you can use most debit or credit cards. They will reclaim gift aid tax on your donation (if you are a UK taxpayer), meaning any donation is worth around 25% more.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

All the boys from Team Jim Farmer.

James Farmer, Adam King, Antony Beasley, Dave Beasley, Mathew Savage, Neil Tompkins, Gary Sutton, Jamie Wood, Phil Turner, Paul Connery and support from Alex Hilson & Paul Johnson.

p.s. As an additional motivation to sponsor us. Neil Tompkins has offered to have TEAM JIM FARMER tattooed on his body if we reach our donation target!
