So no news, is kind of good and bad news... we are all still in one piece, but that's maybe because we haven't actually completed our challenge yet! The event was rained off on 30th September. Fingers crossed it's going to go ahead on th 23rd October, with an indoor option. Thanks to everyone who has donated to far and those of you who are here to contribute. We really appreciate your support in helping us exceed our target, and we'll do you proud on the day :-)
Thanks for visiting our page, a little laer than planed, Gillian, Vivien, Shona, Wayne, Dr Hutchinson and Dr Ryan from Thompson House Hospital will be hanging up our uniforms and stethoscopes and getting into something far more comfortable (and maybe even waterproof!) as we take on the It's A Knockout Challenge for Action MS.
Other than maybe getting a wee bit wet and having lots of fun, we are not really sure what to expect, potentially making total fools of ourselves, maybe some sumo wrestling, gladiator style challenges and from what I've googled, lots of soapy bubbles?! It's going to get messy so we would really appreciate your sponsorship to help us along on the night.
Action MS supports the estimated 4000 people living with multiple sclerosis in Northern Ireland by offering practical help, education and social opportunities, including holidays and support groups for people with MS and their families. Their constant goal is to provide the right kind of care at the right time in the right place.
We really hope you will help us to support Action MS by donating whatever you can afford. There might even be photos if we reach our target.
So please dig deep and donate now.
