The Mongol Rally 2007

So here's the deal - the delightful example of  80's automotive genius pictured on the left is about to be subjected to the Mongol Rally at the hands of the mongogolia crew.

What's that all about then? 

The general idea consists of starting off with a perfectly normal if somewhat underwhelming Nissan Micra and going to Hyde Park in July, nice and easy so far as I'm sure you'll agree. The next bit's a bit trickier as that involves us attempting to drive the poor thing to Ulaan Bataar in Mongolia via all those places you hear about but are not entirely sure where they are. On top of this once we're underway we're on our own with nothing but our wits and ingenuity to help us on a 10000 mile commute....

What can I do?

That's the easy bit - give us some money! Its quick, simple and totally secure and if you're a UK taxpayer we get an extra 28p for every pound you donate without you having to do a thing so everyone's a winner.
