Hi,
We have taken up a touch challenge inBorneo, It is a tough one as we will be attempting the following:
1. Climb upMountKinabalu(peak 4,095m, South East Asia's highest mountain), half of the height asMount Everest. Apparently people die attempting the magnificent nature of the mountain. Hopefully we can all survive and race after intensive trainings.
2. Biking and hiking through mountain passes and dense rainforest and living in remote village. We will be living on very basic facilities if any at all.
3. Raft raging rapids on Jungle Rivers. We are putting our lives at risk here…… especially for some of us that have not done white water rafting before.
4. Race to the finish line against other teams beside theSouth China Sea.
Just a note on why we are taking up this challenge; around one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or training. Youth unemployment cost the UK economy £10 million a day in lost productivity, while youth crime costs £1 billion every year.
We are hoping to raise £13,800, so we do need a lot of support!!!! The fund will go directly to Prince's Trust, a great charity for Youth People. This charity helps more than 400k young people per year to get their lives back on track from being hopeless, abandoned and disadvantaged. They have a chance to make it right with our help!!!!!! So PLEASE do donate generously.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prince's Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
