£10,000 and 1,000 miles between us!
"Team Pembrokeshire Coastal Path" are a group of intrepid, mature and willing walkers determined to raise £10,000 for the Tamar Lifeboat Appeal for Angle in 2007. This new Lifeboat will be on station at Angle in 2008. With a target to raise £1M by the end of 2007, and £170,000 raised by the end of 2006 there is a long way to go. With the great Team Pembrokeshire Coastal Path we are hoping to add a minimum of £10,000 to the Tamar Lifeboat Appeal coffers. For more information about this Appeal please visit: www.rnli.org.uk/tamar4angle.
The team members to date are as follows:
Jean and Keith Hadley - Chair and Member of Halesowen Fundraising Branch
Beryl and Geoff Cotter - friends of the Hadleys, keen and experienced walkers
Jill Follett - Previously walked 1000 miles to raise funds for the RNLI
Julie and Peter Hunt - Chairman of Knowle & Dorridge Fundraising Branch, undertook the round Isle of Man walk for the RNLI
Tricia and James Bradbury - organised, and undertook the round Isle of Man walk for the RNLI. James was previously Senior Fundraising Manager for the Birmingham/W Mids and Worcestershire Area for 10 years
June Addison - current Senior Fundraising Manager for the Area and leading the Tamar Lifeboat Appeal for Angle. With no distance walking experience, I shall be the one dragging along behind, probably whining "are we nearly there yet?"
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
Any money raised after the £1M target for the Tamar Lifeboat Appeal for Angle has been raised, will then be allocated to wherever it is most needed by the RNLI.
