We've joined together to stupidly decide to race from London to Brighton it what looks to be pouring rain and wind on Sunday 17th June 2012.
We are testing ourselves to the limit to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation, a charity that not only does great work and saves lives, but is also close to all of our.. hearts (no pun intended!)
As one of the UK's leading killers, heart disease has touched most of us in one way or another. We are raising money for everyone who has or will suffer from heart disease. Hopefully together, and by raising funds, we can make this a thing of the past and ensure people are treated better in the future.
The girls especially aren't looking forward to the 56 miles and a few large hills (not to mention the little hump called the South Downs) after a badly timed holiday ruined the training schedule and took our fitness levels back to the 6 mile giving up limit!!
So please dig deep and donate now and please, keep your fingers crossed for at least one small break in the weather.
