Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.
We've joined together to raise money in memory of Mathew Harvey. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.
Mathew Fest is a 3 day event celebrating the life of Mathew David Harvey. Mathew was a very much loved son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a kind, caring and considerate man who did so many good things for other people. He was the type of person you could open up to and if he could help, he would. His laugh was infectious and he was the life and soul of the party. Mathew was a keen and very talented musician, playing in bands such as Small Town Motion, The Dead Zeds and The Pink Trees. He was extremely hard working and excelled in anything he set his mind to.
Many of you will have such amazing memories of Mathew and this will be your opportunity to share them with others. Join us on Friday evening for a few drinks and a chance to celebrate Mathew and chat about the good times you spent with him. On Saturday we will be taking part in a sponsored Walk, Run or Cycle to raise money for The Samaritans and the weekend will end with a gig to celebrate Mathew as the fantastic musician that he was.
As mentioned earlier, all proceeds made from this weekend will be donated to The Samaritans. The Samaritans is a registered charity aimed at providing emotional support to anyone in distress or struggling to cope with day to day life. Everyone in emotional distress should feel confident that they have access to the support services they need – you are not alone, talk to someone, they are there to help.
Let’s make this a weekend to remember, one where we can join together and celebrate the life of a much loved and sorely missed son, father, brother, uncle and friend; a man who will forever be in our hearts.
Keeping your memory alive forever .....
