Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.
We've joined together to raise money for Kidney Research UK by doing the London Bridges Walk on 3rd July 2016. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.
THERES NO CURE FOR KIDNEY DISEASE ONLY TREATMENT.
Paul Matthews turned 50 recently, he also received his 3rd Kidney transplant on 21st September 2014 after being on dialysis for 11 years (this time).
His brother had 4 transplants, his cousin had 2, his aunt 1 and his mother has 1. His daughter, Emma has the disease on her X chromosone and has a 50% chance of passing it on to her children.
The disease is called Alports,it is a genetic hereditary disease and its pretty rare in the UK. It needs more research into it along with all the other Kidney diseases out there and that is why we are raising money for Kidney Research UK.
Please sponsor us or better still JOIN us. Register and pay £10 at Kidneyresearchuk.org and then set up your own JustGiving page linked to Kidney Research UK and click on Join Team on this page and see how much we can raise together.
Its only 7 miles across the fantatstic bridges of London and a great day out. Paul is doing it 22 months after his transplant.
If HE can YOU can!!!!!
