On Yer Bike For Brain Tumours!!!
On Saturday 4th February 2012 a group of mates will keep the pedals turning over 12 hours of spinning classes at The Pilates Studio in Glossop!! So we need your help to motivate and keep us going by donating what you can to this critical charity......do have a read below for more background...
The diagnosis of a Brain Tumour is devastating for all involved, patient, partners parents, siblings, friends and loved ones. Whether benign or malignant these patients and their carers live with a ticking time bomb. Brain Tumours may also affect mood, memory, personality, independence, ability to work or drive.
Some stark statistics;
More people under 40 die of a brain tumour than from any other cancer 25% of all cancers spread to the brain
Yet Brain Tumour research remains woefully underfunded and the five year survival rate remains unchanged for the past 30 years.
Please give as much as you can to help patients and their loved ones find the words they are dying to hear, “there is a cure, everything will be alright.”
