Thanks for visiting Peter and Vicky's team fundraising page - Tri-Anything Twits - because people say we're mad and we'll try all sorts of challenges to raise money for Hospiscare without regard to the fact that we are both old enough to know better !
We kick off the season by competing in the Tiverton Mini Sprint Triathlon on 8 May 2011.
On the weekend of 17-18 June 2011 Vicky and Peter head north to swim in the Great North Swim at Lake Windermere. Peter just couldn't resist the opportunity to take up the 2 mile open water challenge and Vicky will be swimming alongside her daughter Jenny in the one mile challenge.
A month later on 17 July 2011 the team takes a trip to the seaside at Bournemouth to swim from Pier to Pier - that's just under two miles !
The team will round off the season on 24 September 2011 at Hospiscare's very own 1 mile swim at Roadford Lake. Peter has signed up for the elite race which means he will suffer great pain as he seeks to keep pace with swimmers who can swim the mile comfortably in less than 25 minutes.
