Hundreds of Ex and Serving Women of the Royal Air Force have joined together to raise money for 2 charities, RAFA and Macmillan Cancer Support, by doing a relay round Britain. Some will be walking, some running, some cycling and there are some using more unusual methods. Watch out for us in your part of the country from the end of June 2014 till the end of October 2014.
2014 is a special year if you are or were a WAAF/WRAF.
It will be 75 years since WAAF was formed.
65 years since name changed to WRAF.
20 years since the W officially disappeared under the complete merge with RAF.
It will also be 100 years since the start of WWI.
Several good reasons to do something special, raise money for charity and to celebrate the great things Women of the Royal Air Force have achieved in the last 75 years.
Please help us to make this a fitting tribute to all the women who have served in whatever incarnation of the Royal Air Force.
