We are both cancer survivors who are passionate about raising money for the charities that supported us through treatment and brought us together.
The QEHB Charity was instrumental in helping provide a comfortable environment whilst undergoing treatment for cancer, providing equipment and facilities above and beyond the NHS. They also funded travel to the Climbing Out programme.
Climbing Out run outward bound programmes for young people affected by serious injury and illness. The week was monumentally important in restoring our confidence individually and ultimately bringing us together. We met on the programme and a year later are now engaged.
We have both had our different experiences with cancer and now together want to help the charities that helped us and will continue to help others. Please give generously to whichever charity you choose, though we are passionate about both and 50/50 donations would be amazing.
