Many of the male members of the senior tax team at A&M in the UK will be reporting to the office clean shaven on the 31 October 2012 with a view to cultivating the best possible moustache over the coming 30 days. Those not participating have kindly agreed to make a significant personal donation to the cause.
There is to be no joining of the mo to the sideburns (that’s considered a beard), there’s to be no joining of the handlebars to the chin (that’s considered a goatee).
Our aim is to raise £3,000 for Everyman. The Everyman appeal was launched in 1997 to raise funds for prostate and testicular cancer research at The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in British men with almost 41,000 new cases diagnosed each year, while testicular cancer remains the most common cancer in men aged 15-44.
