A group of colleagues and friends from Greenspace Solutions in Leeds (now owned by GRITIT UK) are joining forces to raise money for HortAid this year in memory of Alan Broomfield.
Alan, who worked for Greenspace Solutions, died from cancer last year and leaves a wife and young son.
The family has been helped and supported by Perennial and we would like to say 'thanks'.
As a team we are challenging ourselves to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks (23 July), Yorkshire Tough Mudder (6 August), and the Yorkshire Marathon (9 October). In the marathon we will have individual runners as well as a Corporate Relay team from Green-Tech Ltd.
We will also work with the BALI Yorkshire and North East region to host additional fundraising events throughout the year and have set ourselves a target of £10,000.
