Jack Devers and Neil Buist will be trekking across the Escambray Mountains in Cuba, March 2-11, 2013.
This challenging hike will take place in early March next year and involves walking from the historic city of Havana on the north coast right across the island to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Trinidad on the south coast. To get there Jack and I will spend a week hiking across the majestic Escambray Mountains, passing through rainforest, coffee plantations and mango orchards as we go. The terrain will be tough, the days long and the climbs challenging, but the opportunity to raise money for Macmillan will make every step well worth the effort.We've joined together to raised money for charity.
