Dan was a wonderful wonderful person but unfortunately he lost his battle with lymphoma in September aged just 21.
As selfless as ever, during his treatment Dan had discussed raising money for research into lymphoma as soon as he was better and the two of us decided on a sponsored cycle ride.
To carry on with Dan's wish a few of us are cycling from London to Paris this June and believe us when we say it's going to be a tough ask of our unfit and overweight bodies.
