Thanks for visiting the REAL Boat Race team fundraising page.
This coming May we're rowing 500 miles from London to Paris, racing as 2 teams over 6 days to be the first to the Eiffel Tower.
The race will take us down the Thames, into and across the English Channel and then up the Seine on the spring tide to Paris.
There are only 3 days each year when the spring tide surge enables teamd to row up the currents at the mouth of the Seine - which is why more people have climbed Everest than have rowed to Paris.
Everyone in this team has trained for 12 months, pulling over 1million metres each on rowing machines, nursing blisters on both hands and bums and enduring the question 'Why on earth would you do that?' from everyone we have told.
The answer is to raise money for two very special charities. The Ickle Pickles Children's Charity and Help for Heroes.

Our team fundraising target is shown on the right. Its ambitious but with your support we're confident we can make it.
JustGiving will collect Gift Aid on your donation (an additional 25%) and they'll distribute the donations directly to our chosen charities.
