Team Shape is made up of Shape staff and supporters that are participating in the British 10k London Run on Sunday 6th July 2008. We are raising money for Shape Tickets, our accessible booking service for disabled and deaf people. London’s cultural scene is possibly one of the most exciting and diverse in the world, but many disabled and deaf people, and other with mobility difficulties are excluded from enjoying its rich culture. Shape Tickets help to remove some of these barriers, making London’s theatres, galleries and museums more accessible. Shape ticket members can chose from a range of seating options depending on their access requirements. The services pays for discounted tickets and supports Volunteer Access Assistants to transport members to and for the venue “Shape has made all the difference to me being able to get out and especially going up to London to see a show, which normally would be impossible for me.” “Shape has made such a BIG difference to my quality of life and I am very grateful and appreciate everything that the Shape volunteers do for me” Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.
