We offer life changing opportunities to disadvantaged youth and disabled adults

Story

On Saturday, yes SATURDAY we will be crossing the English Channel in a rowing boat armed only with our oars, bulging muscles and insurmountable enthusiasm.

Yes we are serious. And no we're not mad, yet. This is an incredible challenge for a brilliant charity so please please help us raise as much money as possible.

The distance is 22 miles and the current Olympic record is a mere 2hours 30 minutes... we're going for gold, obviously.

We will be training hard over the next couple of months and posting all our photos and videos on here, Facebook, Twitter and blogging etc so make sure to keep coming back, keep up to date and shout about what a great thing your crazy friends/family/colleagues are doing to everyone you know! We need all the help and support we can get.

As I'm sure you will agree this is a serious challenge to take on, but knowing we've had the support from each and every one of you will really help us keep on going when there's nothing but the 6 of us and a whole lot of open water...

Donating through Just Giving is safe, secure and easy to do and the Ahoy centre will receive the money straight away. Don't forget to Gift Aid it if you can.

Thank you so much for your generous donation. Cross your fingers for good weather. Au revoir!
