A BIG BIG thank you to everybody who sponsored, supported, advised and kept the team going! Not only did all our Team St Loye's runners cross the finish line, but they also smashed the fundraising target of £1000! WELL DONE!!!!!!

2009 is the 25th anniversary for The Great West Run. It is one of the largest running events in the South West, attracting thousands of spectators and a record number of entries this year.
Team St Loye’s is made up of St Loye’s Foundation staff, trainees, past trainees, clients and supporters who have all made the big commitment to run the half marathon or 5K fun run on Sunday 3rd May and go the extra mile by raising as much sponsorship as they can.
This is a huge challenge for a number of our team runners who have never done this before. The hard work they have invested in training for the run and the dedication required to pound the streets and steep hills of Exeter on behalf of the charity deserves every penny of your sponsorship!

Through Team St Loye's tremendous efforts and your valuable support, St Loye's Foundation can continue enabling people with disabilities and ill-health achieve their work ambitions, gain sustainable employment and build a better life for themselves and their families.
One in four men and one in five women will suffer a critical illness before they reach 65. Depression and anxiety now account for more Incapacity Benefit claims than physical conditions such as back pain. One day you or someone you know may suffer ill health and need skills training and support from St Loye’s Foundation to get into employment.
