My story
Our cause is the charity chosen by Glyn (Alex's Brother) following his brain tumor diagnosis at the beginning of this year. The first indicator and symptom that he had a tumor was the near fatal stroke he had back in August, so any money we raise will go to the UK charity, the Stroke Association. Stroke has a greater disability impact than any other medical condition. A quarter of a million people are living with long-term disability as a result of stroke in the UK. All the money we raise will help the Stroke Association work towards creating a world where there are fewer strokes and all those touched by stroke, like Glyn, get the help they need.
Tough Mudder is a hardcore 12 mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. If that's not worth sponsoring us for I don't know what is!
