Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My dear husband Ted passed away on 11th September,2009, just 6 days after this picture was taken at our youngest son Kevin's wedding. He fought bladder cancer since diagnosis in January 2007, undergoing surgery, chemotherapy & radiotherapy. A very special & brave man was said by so many, deeply loved by all.
Life is incredibly hard without Ted here. It is my wish now to raise as much money as I can in Ted's memory to help fight bladder cancer. Ted had a great respect for his Urologist Mr Haldar, & I know Ted would want me to support the scannappeal's phase 2, Prostate & Bladder Cancer Fighting Fund. This will enable Mr Haldar & other Consultants in the Urology ward at Wycombe Hospital to obtain the vital equipment necessary to help detect this dreadful disease.
We have already managed to raise some £500+ , so to raise more I know would mean so much to Ted. Bless him xx
£5,000 would buy specialist equipment to treat bladder cancer, thus preventing the disease spreading. Please, help us to prevent other families having to go through the difficulties & emotions we have had to endure over the last 2 years.
