PEPAIDS is a UK based charity which provides financial and administrative support to SAPEP, an HIV/AIDS awareness initiative that operates in two rural districts in Southern Zambia. As well as educating and raising awareness, SAPEP equips young people with the life skills they need to overcome cultural pressures and avoid contracting HIV.

My story

Hi,

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Gra and I are are planning a 5 day walk from Carlisle, across the Lake District to Ulverston (a total of 72 miles !) and thought that this camping expedition would be a great way to earn some money for a very worthy charity (as well as a good way to encourage us to trek on through the rain and blisters!).

If you are able to spare a pound (or more would be great!), your contributions to Pepaids would be extremely well received.

You may not have heard of Pepaids before but it was founded, and is run, by a quite extraordinary friend of mine who constantly commits her time and energy to helping other people. Take a look at the Pepaids website at www.pepaids.org for more info.
