Thank you for visiting our page. Glen and I are raising money for Beating Bowel Cancer, a charity close to our hearts since first my sister and then a close friend in our village died of the disease. It is the second deadliest of cancers, but very treatable if the symptoms are recognised in time.
We have agreed to do a five-day trek through Vietnam, walking up to seven hours a day and sleeping under canvas, in very hot and humid conditions. Our training programme is well under way and we will do all the hard work - all you have to do is send us some money! We are paying our own expenses for the trip, so everything you give will go to Beating Bowel Cancer.

Our target reached! After a busy month of events - two bingo nights, two fun rides, a car boot sale, a swimming marathon and a dog show - we have passed our target of £5,000. Many thanks to everyone who took part or helped, or contributed in any way to our appeal. But £5,000 was only a traget, not an upper limit, so don't stop giving now!
