My story

Thanks for visiting 'Terry's Kilimanjaro Climb' fundraising page!

Terry Allen, an enthusiastic and very popular employee of Fujitsu Services, is embarking on an exciting adventure to reach the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain located on the border between Tanzania and Kenya, this September 2008.

                                  UPDATE!!!!

TERRY COMPLETED HIS KILIMANJARO CHALLENGE!

<----His photos are attached to this page, so please take a look. He trained very hard and successfully reached Kilimanjaro's summit last Friday (12th September), a little earlier than originally scheduled.

                       Well done Terry!!!

This donation page will remain open until the end of October, so please dont think donations can not be accepted - every penny does count!! Terry has done brilliantly in achieving his personal goal of reaching the summit, BUT now we have to work even harder to reach our fund raising target of £1 for every metre Terry climbed!!

Terry will be arriving in Africa on the 2nd September to commence his journey and will be climbing with his best friend Alan Shipperlee, led by Tusker Trails (www.tusker.com) and together they hope to raise as much money as possible to donate to Little Havens Children’s Hospice.

Terry is very passionate about helping and raising money for Little Havens as their work and commitment to supporting children of all ages has touched his heart and stirred his enthusiasm to play his part and help make a difference!

Little Havens Children's Hospice is a fantastic charity that provides care, counselling and huge support to children and families that have been affected by a life-limiting or life-threatening illness. We can not express how much of a difference we believe this charity brings to the lives of so many children all over Essex and London!

Please view their website: www.littlehavens.org.uk

Why have we placed the target of £5895??? Well, Mt. Kilimanjaro's summit is 19340ft which calculates as 5895 metres...

Our target is to raise £1 for every metre Terry climbs!!

Terry's progress will be monitored and we will update everyone as and when we receive his reports and hopefully photographs!!

We are kindly being supported by companies from all over the UK which include:
