OK - Training has commenced for Cycling the Danube from its Source in "Donaueschingen" to its Mouth in the Ukraine - via nine countries! 

This year's challenge, starting on May 27th is split into two - pausing in Belgrade and resuming from there in September.  The "warm-up" on May 19th is the 100 mile ride from home to work and back, with a day's work as well!

This section's charity is the Brain Research Trust - and the next section will be a for children's charity to be decided by colleagues. 

The BRT helps further research into Alzheimer's disease, brain tumours, multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, motor neurone disease, migraine, CJD, brain trauma and spinal cord regeneration.

All of us are likely have family or friends affected by these conditions - and your support and help for this charity will be something positive to do.

I'm paying all expenses for this trip - so anything you donate (plus Gift Aid!) will go towards vital research projects!
