We (Lee Batchelor, Dave Youngs, Jo Kenney and Kate Gardner) have decided to take place in this years Sucata Run to raise money for gemin-i.org.  A worthy charity aiming to raise HIV and AIDS awareness through high-tech education in developing countries.

 

The Sucata Run is a 2000km rally through Europe starting at Rouen in Northern France and heading down through Spain finishing at Europe's most westerly point in Portugal 4 days later.....Sounds simple enough......until you find that you have to complete the rally in a car costing no more than £250.

 

We have managed to purchase a 20-year old Alfa Romeo 164 which has a distinctive 'Blues Brothers' paint scheme and will be completing the rally in matching themed outfits.

 

Each team is set a fundraising target of £1000 which we hope to absolutely smash.  Every penny donated here will go directly to the charity.
