We are Llys Nini Animal Centre and this is a SPECIAL APPEAL for Ella the Sheltie cross stray dog.
Ella was found wandering alone near Jersey Marine, Swansea on August 22nd. She was found in an appalling condition and after being seen by a vet was brought to us here, at Llys Nini. She is a Sheltie cross, approximately 4 - 5 years old with a very loving but nervous nature.
As is apparent from the photographs, Ella has suffered severe burns to her face, legs and body. HOW she received these burns is obviously unclear. However, according to the vet these injuries appear to have been caused by CHEMICAL BURNS. Also, it is very possible that Ella will have to lose her left eye.
She is currently being stabalised and treated with antibiotics, pain relief and cream. Ella is too ill to be in our kennels at Llys Nini. Therefore, she is currently being cared for around the clock by one of our experienced fosterers.
Please donate what you can to help us give Ella the treatment she needs, the care she needs and eventually a loving home. We do not have our own vet here at the centre and pay for all our vets treatments by fundraising.
