Hello and welcome to our Just Giving page. Can I just say how amazing you look today. Whatever you've done with your hair is great. All your friends go on about how cool you are to me. I know, amazing isn't it?
So anyway, cool person that you are, I probably don't need to tell you why you're here, but just in case, here's what you need to know:
The Fast and the Foolish is a crack team of the finest young drivers Buckinghamshire has to offer, and will be taking on the Sucata Split banger rally. We will be driving from Bruges to Split, passing Strasbourg, Munich and Ljubljana, traversing the Alps, and covering just over 1,900 km (around 1,180 miles). The Banger we have for the job is a mostly intact 1992 BMW 318i, with paint work customised to within an inch of its life to match the team's chosen theme 'Le Mans'. The cause is Gemin-i, an amazing charity that connects schools in the West with those in developing countries through the internet. As people who travel a lot it's hard to imagine what it must be like for people who have never left their own country and experienced other cultures, and probably never will, but Gemin-i offers this chance. Through connecting children around the world, they hope to foster a great awareness of the global community, and better understanding of how to tackle the global challenges of the 21st century.
