Founded in 1982 by leukaemia patient Lester Cazin, Leuka (formerly known as Leuka 2000) is a registered charity dedicated to raising funds to support research into the causes and treatment of leukaemia at London's Hammersmith Hospital. At the forefront of clinical and scientific advances for the past thirty years, the specialist unit at the Hammersmith already has an international reputation for excellence and innovation.

My story

Every June since 2001, a peloton of cyclists clad in shiney red tops and black lycra, have swept down the Croisette in Cannes after traversing over 1000km across the French Alps. These cyclists are known as the Fireflies riders and they make this journey from Como to Cannes to raise money for Leuka.

This year, there will be an international team of 40 riders completing this epic journey. They would appreciate your Help in joining the fight against Leukaemia, so please show your support by sponsoring them this year.
