Hi guys - I'm alive! I set myself 3 goals for Sunday's run... 1 - to finish the 10 mile course, 2 - to run the whole way & 3 - to break 2 hours. Well after an endless wait to start (with warm up exercises that almost finished all 24000 runners off!) we set off & even after a slight mental challenge at 7 miles the jelly babies at 9 miles helped us over the line! I ran the whole way & amazingly did it in 1 hour 42 mins. Chris, my 16 year old, did a couple of training runs & did it in 1 hour 22mins! Anyway, huge thanks for supporting me so generously - you were my inspiration! With Just Giving, Just Text Giving & cash donations we have currently made £997 - pretty close to the grand I was aining for! As for whether I run again - you never know but I'll give it a few days of hot baths & linament to help with the decision! God bless the lot of you!
