My story
The Music Circle is a group of key women from the music industry working in conjunction with Oxfam to raise money and awareness to help abused women and victims of conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Watch a video about the women we are raising money for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-_xzGS1YW0
We are raising money in a number of ways: in 2012 we held various bake sales and sponsored night walks and, so far in 2013, we have thrown a celebrity jumble sale with Radio 1's Gemma Cairney, with donations from the likes of Paloma Faith, Fearne Cotton, Bat For Lashes and Tinie Tempah, and held a raffle, with prizes including VIP festival tickets and designer handbags.
